Interests
I find myself wanting to get back into this.  Both the art/photography, and the dA community.  I'm surprised at how little dA seems to have changed since i went inactive :P

Anyway, I don't currently have a camera :(  My FZ7 died.  Looking for something wwith at least the same functionality as that, possibly higher image quality, for around the $600 mark.  And it has tohave a similar kind of body.  I know there are good camers out now with a 'point and click' style body, but I like to feel like I'm actually holding a camera.  Alternatively, I'd be interested in experimenting with an old Nikon DSLR.  My skill makes a new DSLR out of my budget range, but I wouldn't mind tinkering with an old D70 or something.

Does anyone in Dunedin know where I could go to buy a decent second hand camera, now that Jonathan's sound and video has half closed down (i think they got rid of their second hand ness when they closed that half of the shop).  Or can anyone anywhere recommend a good replacement for a Panasonic FZ7?

And do people actually care enough about my work that they want to see me come back?
